Dr Sian Stephens is a vocationally-recognised General Practitioner, who has recently returned to her home town of the Gold Coast after spending three years away working as a locum and on maternity leave.
Dr Sian studied at the University of Queensland, and worked at the Princess Alexandra Hospital for three years before completing her Fellowship on the Gold Coast in 2017. She has worked in rural and remote locations in the Northern Territory and around New Zealand, and holds a Masters of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
She enjoys all aspects of General Practice, with special interests in rural medicine, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, expedition and wilderness medicine, public health and preventative healthcare.
Dr Sian enjoys hiking and surfing.
